AvaTarZ

Experience a challenging team outing, school trip, children's party or bachelor party in the largest climbing forest of Twente: AvaTarZ! With a versatile climbing track with heights from 2 to 12 metres, a visit to AvaTarZ is a sporting challenge for young and old. Children, but also adults, can enjoy themselves above the ground for about two hours. So come along for a day out with the family!

With 110 challenges varying in height and difficulty, AvaTarZ is the largest climbing forest in the Netherlands. For children aged 6 to 9, some 30 tough obstacles and four ziplines await them at a height of 2 to 4 metres. Thanks to the safe restraint system, children can tackle the course without supervision: how cool is that? For older children and adults, there are six more routes full of daring obstacles on the high climbing course. At a height of 12 metres, you will even find the longest zipline in the Netherlands as a worthy finale!

You will find the AvaTarZ climbing forest in Overijssel, between Deurningen and Oldenzaal. AvaTarZ is easily accessible by car, as the park is less than two minutes from the A1 motorway, exit 32 towards Oldenzaal. A visit to our climbing park can also be combined with a nice walk or bike ride from the immediate surroundings of Delden, Borne, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Enschede. There are several beautiful walking and cycling routes that lead you to AvaTarZ in no more than an hour.
