At the Hulsbeek is the KV De Eendracht ditch shooting course. This course offers a challenging game of "klootschiet"! The costs are €9,50 p.p. including a herbal drink. We provide the forms and 'kloten'. Reservations are required!

Klootschieten is played with two or more teams going over the track at the same time. In Twente, curling is a widely practised sport. The next team member shoots on the spot where the ball has stopped. Each team has a leader (opperkloot) who notes the number of shots, both of his own team and those of the opponent. Afterwards, the number of shots is counted; in the event of a tie, the team that has crossed the finish line the most, wins.

The mountain bike route at Hulsbeek has been laid outside the recreational paths as much as possible. No narrow broken-in tracks, but a few centimetres deep dug path. This sometimes exposes sturdy tree roots, which makes the route more challenging. In addition, an artificial washboard of hills has been created, so that the eight-kilometre-long round trip includes everything that makes mountain biking fun.

The north-east of Twente is eminently suitable for a beautiful walk. The Twente path shows all facets of this part of Twente: country estates, country estates, nature reserves, old farming land, signs of old cultures and former activities. Het Wandelnetwerk Twente is het mooiste wandelnetwerk van Nederland. Lopend langs het Natuurpad in Het Hulsbeek kom je via bordjes onderweg heel wat te weten over de bomen, struiken en planten die je tegenkomt. Zo kun je bij het bordje van de hulst zelfs lezen hoe je in huis de baas kunt worden! De grotere borden vertellen van alles over de bossen, de beek en het kerkpad door de hei. De route is zeer geschikt om geheel of gedeeltelijk met kinderen te lopen en is in totaal 3.5 kilometer lang. Het natuurpad is bewegwijzerd met de bordjes waar de rode pijl op staat. Beide routes starten op P2.

There are no less than 6000 kilometres of walking possibilities in Twente. The Tree Route over Het Hulsbeek is one of them. Walking along the Tree Route, you will find information about many different types of trees and shrubs. You will come across special trees, such as the Borrenbergs oak and the beech avenue dating back to 1895, which is more than 120 years old. At the Toetersdennen, you will also see a striking tree on the former border between the marke and Gammelke and the marke Berghuizen. Nearby is a mark stone. The route is signposted with a purple arrow. The route is no less than 9 kilometres long. Both routes start at P2.

Scattered through the old oak forest, a course of more than twenty adventurous pieces of play equipment has been laid out. On and around the sunbathing meadows, there are many more play options, such as the water playground, the climbing circus, the pancake cage and the oldest skate park in the Netherlands.
